About Marie Craig
Marie Craig has worked as a photographer since before she owned a camera. After earning undergraduate degrees in Art and Biology from Anna Maria College and a Masters in Biology from Clark University, she worked as a medical photographer and illustrator at UMass Medical School and Brandeis University, before turning her attention and skills to fine art photography. In 2011 Marie co-founded Fountain Street, a contemporary art gallery based in Boston, Massachusetts, and was its director until 2024.
Marie photographs places and things that have a hidden, forgotten beauty within them. Her work has received a number of awards, and has been shown in galleries and museums throughout New England.
